Lorna Scobie

Lorna is an illustrator and printmaker based in South London.

Her work focuses on the animal kingdom, which she views as an endless source of inspiration. She loves to portray the myriad of characters in her head through vibrant use of colour, bold mark making and textures.

Lorna also has a keen interest in illustration for digital content, and in 2012 won the Digital Award in the Macmillan Children's Book Prize for her app concept 'Bradley'. In the same year she was awarded 2nd Place in the Puffin's Children's Prize for her take on the cover of 'Grimm's Fairy Tales'.

Lorna has illustrated several poetry books for Frances Lincoln, and is now working on a number of her own exciting children's books. Her other clients include Macmillan Children’s Books, Stella McCartney Kids, Waitrose and Wimbledon Tennis AELTC.
